The shop that runs plumbing like hospitality.
Plumbing companies usually talk about pipe. This page is about the other half of the job: arriving exactly when promised, protecting the home you let us into, and standing behind the work after we leave. Panda Plumbing is a veteran-owned Portland shop, licensed and insured, and built since 2019 around one conviction: a service call should feel like hospitality.
The bet Jeremy made in 2019.
Before Panda Plumbing had a name, it had an observation. Jeremy Williams, a veteran and journeyman plumber, noticed that people describe a favorite hotel and a typical contractor in opposite languages. The hotel earns loyalty through punctuality, tidiness, and follow-through. The contractor gets tolerated: the half-day arrival window, the surprise on the invoice, the dust left behind where the work happened.
So in 2019 he opened a plumbing company built to run on the hotel’s rules instead. Show up when you said you would, to the narrowest window the trade has ever promised. Treat the house as a home someone loves, not a jobsite someone owns. Put everything in writing, the exact price before work begins and the warranty after it ends. None of it is complicated. It is simply rare, and the whole shop was designed to make it routine.
The bet paid off in the least glamorous way possible: repeat customers, referrals, and a schedule that fills itself. What started as one plumber and one truck in NE Portland is becoming a five-truck shop, and growth has changed the calendar, not the standard. The same rules cover everything on our services page, from a leaking shower valve to a whole-house repipe.
A veteran before a plumber
Jeremy came to the trade from military service, where arriving on time and owning the outcome were not customer service. They were the job.
A journeyman’s license
Years on the tools earned the journeyman qualification that still anchors the company, backed by Oregon plumbing license PB2288.
One truck and a thesis
Panda Plumbing opens in NE Portland in 2019 with a single truck and a founding idea: a service call should feel like a reservation, not a favor.
Scaling to five, carefully
The fleet is growing from one truck toward five while the service area stays deliberately tight, so every promise stays keepable.

Three rules with our name on them.
Every shop claims great service. Ours puts specifics behind the claim: three named commitments that ride on every work order and get enforced like policy, because they are policy.
The No-Window Guarantee
A four-hour window quietly prices your afternoon at zero. We book an exact 30-minute arrival slot instead, and the promise has teeth: arrive outside the slot and the service call fee comes off the bill, no negotiating required.
Live Video Pre-Diagnostics
Before anything gets scheduled, a journeyman plumber looks at the problem with you on a five-minute video call. The right parts get loaded and the right tech assigned before the van moves, which is why the first visit ends with the problem fixed on nearly every job.
Concierge Site Protection
We stage a workspace the way housekeeping turns down a room. Runners between the door and the work area, covered floors and landscaping, and a cleaned, disinfected space on our way out. The jobsite photos across this site are our crews, photographed the way we actually set up.
Claims are easy. These are verifiable.
Every trust badge on the internet says licensed, bonded, and insured, so we prefer proof with a paper trail. BuildZoom, an independent contractor data service, scores Panda Plumbing at 115. That lands in the top 2% of the 62,000+ contractors Oregon licenses, and the score cannot be bought or self-reported. It is calculated from public records: an active license, verified permits, and real homeowner reviews.
The rest of the file reads the same way. More than 50 permitted, inspected projects on the books. A contractor license and a plumbing license you can look up with the state in about a minute. Technicians who pass background checks before they ever ring your doorbell, and an exact price in writing before any of them lifts a tool.

An organized truck is not vanity. It is how a first visit ends with working plumbing.
Guaranteed in writing. Confirmed by phone.
The last step of a Panda job is never the invoice. Two habits close every project.
An ironclad workmanship warranty
If our workmanship fails, we come back and make it right, and that promise is printed, not implied. We are just as plain about the edges: the warranty does not cover damage from natural forces like storms or earthquakes, normal settling of the house, or work performed by someone else. Clear exclusions are what make the coverage worth having.
A follow-up after every job
Days after the work wraps, our office reaches out to confirm the fix is holding and the visit met the standard. It is the least expensive quality control in the trade, and the step most shops skip. If anything is off, that call is where it gets made right.
The next voice after ours should belong to our customers. The reviews below come from verified BuildZoom projects, and the reviews page keeps the full receipts. When you are ready, book a free consultation and hold us to all of it.

“Jeremy, of Panda Plumbing, not only met every high criteria I was hoping to find when hiring a contractor, any contractor, he raised the bar.”
