Verified Reviews

Reviews we earned the slow way.

Most review pages pour out a wall of praise: dozens of snippets, first names, no dates, nothing you could check if you wanted to. This page holds exactly two reviews, because two is what we can prove. Both appear below in full, unedited, from customers whose projects are on the public record.

They live on BuildZoom, an independent service that grades contractors from data instead of testimonials: license status, verified permits, and reviews it can tie to real projects. Here is what that data says about a shop that opened in 2019.

The Receipts

Two reviews, word for word.

No cropped fragments and no ellipses doing quiet editing. Below is the complete text of every verified review on our BuildZoom record, presented exactly as each customer wrote it.

Verified BuildZoom Review

“I took bids from about four plumbing contractors for a new line into the house and a re-pipe of all three floors. Jeremy, of Panda Plumbing, not only met every high criteria I was hoping to find when hiring a contractor, any contractor, he raised the bar.”

Don E.

Verified BuildZoom Review

“We had a great experience working with Jeremy and his assistant. They replaced the toilet in our primary bathroom. They were pleasant, courteous, and very competent. I recommend them highly.”

J

Jim C.

Toilet replacement project

Both reviews sit on our public BuildZoom record beside the license and permit data the service tracks. For the visual version of the same standard, the project gallery shows our own jobsites, photographed by us.

The Method

How we earn five stars.

Reread the two reviews and notice what actually earns the praise. Don took bids from about four contractors and wrote about criteria, the checklist a careful homeowner brings to a big hire. Jim wrote about conduct: pleasant, courteous, competent. Neither one mentions a lucky day.

That is deliberate. Every job runs on the same four commitments, from a single toilet to three floors of repipe, so the experience Don and Jim describe is the default outcome rather than a good mood. The thinking behind that system, and the veteran who built it, are on the about page.

You do not have to take a review page’s word for any of it, either. Book a free consultation and grade the process yourself, starting with the first phone call.

01

An appointment, not a window

Every visit is booked into an exact 30-minute arrival slot, and a missed slot wipes the service call fee off the bill. Showing up on time is the least glamorous five-star habit and the one people remember.

02

Diagnosed before we drive

A journeyman studies the problem with you on a short video call before the schedule is set, so the van arrives stocked for your exact repair. Nearly every first visit ends with the problem solved.

03

A home treated like one

Runners line the path from the front door, floors and plantings get covered, and the workspace is disinfected before we hand it back. Courteous, Jim’s word, is a checklist item here.

04

A call after the job

A few days out, the office calls to ask two questions: is the work holding up, and did the visit live up to this page? A no to either one is ours to fix.

The Honest Part

Why this page is short.

Two verified reviews, more than fifty permitted projects, zero padding. That ratio deserves an explanation and a standing policy.

A young shop, counted honestly

Panda Plumbing opened in 2019, and the schedule has filled ever since through the quietest channel there is: one customer handing our number to the next. That keeps the trucks busy and the review count modest, and we would rather show you the honest ratio than dress it up.

So here is the standing policy. No invented names, no unverifiable praise, no borrowed star totals, ever. If a quote appears on this site, the original exists on BuildZoom where anyone can check it, and as new verified reviews come in, they will be published here whole.

Had us out? Put it on the record.

A two-minute review is the most useful thank-you a small shop can receive, and it helps the next east-side homeowner hire on evidence instead of ad budgets. Search for Panda Plumbing on Google to share your experience, or add it to the BuildZoom file alongside Don’s and Jim’s.

And if any part of your visit fell short of five stars, tell us before you tell the internet: reach the shop through the contact page or at (503) 830-6400 and we will make it right.

Give us a job worth reviewing.

Start with a free consultation. A journeyman meets you on a short video call, the price arrives in writing before the work does, and the arrival slot is thirty minutes wide with our fee behind it.
